Area 1 Venture Quest
Amateur Radio

BSA Venture Crew 510 (that's DX in Roman Numerals) will be hosting the ham radio portion of Venture Quest at Moses. We are chartered through Pioneer Valley Council. We'll be using the crew's club call, NE1C (New England's #1 Crew) and be on 2m, IRLP, and HF Scouting Frequencies -- I'm guessing 20m for the most part.

From what I gather, we'll be in operation on Saturday May 10th from 1:PM to 5:PM. We'll offer eyeball QSL cards / operator cards for those that visit and actually speak on-the-air, and possibly customized QSL cards and/or certificates for on-the-air contacts.

We have a permanent radio shack up on the reservation, with a TA33 beam up 55'. The Crew owns an IC746 which we'll use for HF. We can reach IRLP node 7270 in South Hadley from the reservation.
