Our Ships Serve God, Family, and Country

We are recruiting new members for our Crew of guys and gals between the ages of *14 to 21. Our fleet includes the co-ed equipped Avenger Cabin Cruiser North Star, a 24' Cabin Cruiser, a 24' skiff and 22' and 19' Sloops. "Cabin Boys" accepted from age 12 to 14 through our BSA membership program

We meet at the Atlantic Highlands Marina on a weekly basis to learn and practice the skills of the sea. We train in Seamanship, Marlinspike, Engine and Boat Maintenance, Piloting & Navigation, Marine Radio, First Aid, Swimming, Scuba, Fishing, Culinary Arts, Marine Ecology and many other skills of the sea, and many skills to calm those often times stormy seas of life.

During the summer months we'll be cruising aboard North Star and our other vessels on overnight, weekend and long cruises to exciting places along the Coast. A highlight of our summer is a "Rendezvous" with other ships from a number of Northeast ports who gather together for a weekend of competition, fellowship, visiting each other's ships and sharing 'sea stories' of our new adventures. Accommodations may be arranged for challenged crew.

Some in our crew will advance into leadership positions as Ship's Officers as they realize their full potential. This program is celebrating it's 90th Anniversary in America, and in many other countries throughout the world.

If you need to add some adventure and pride to your life why not check us out? Our crew would welcome you aboard. We're community oriented, encourage parental participation and welcome adult advisors. Come aboard, visit our meetings, tour our vessels, join our crew, bring a friend, take a cruise. It will change your life! We train up leaders, not followers.

Sea Scout Ship Crew 532 is sponsored by The Seacoast Missionary Society serving God and Man since 1704
